Update — Sunday, March 13, 10:52 a.m.: Since the weather is warm and the snow has gone, Glen Eden is now closed for the season. Yesterday, Saturday, March 12 was the last day until December that Milton Transit buses operated along the route.

Milton Transit is re-introducing direct service between Milton GO Station and the Glen Eden ski area at Kelso / Glen Eden Conservation Area.

The buses, sponsored by Conservation Halton, operate Mondays to Fridays and Saturdays from Friday, January 8 until March, depending on the weather, and can connect you with Glen Eden’s 14 slopes, two terrain parks and other attractions. Regular Milton Transit fares apply, but Glen Eden employees ride any Milton Transit bus free of fare by showing valid employee identification when boarding.

Buses serving the 61 Glen Eden Slopes express route leave Milton GO Station at 3:10, 4:10 and 5:10 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and arrive at Glen Eden at 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Buses leave Glen Eden at 3:40 and 4:40 p.m., returning to the GO station at 4 and 5 p.m. After skiing, you can board the buses at 9 and 10 p.m. to return to the station.

Saturdays, buses leave Milton GO Station at 8:10 a.m. and every hour until 6:10 p.m. They arrive at Glen Eden at 8:30 a.m. and every hour until 6:30 p.m. Buses leave Glen Eden at 8:40 a.m. and every hour until 5:40 p.m., ending their trips in the GO Station at 9 a.m. and every hour until 6 p.m. Finally, after skiing, you can board buses at 6:40, 7:40, 8:40 and 9:50 p.m. to return to the station.
