Cherry Street sewer construction:
TTC detour, February 16 to 29

Starting today, Tuesday, February 16, the City of Toronto is closing:

  • Cherry Street, northbound lanes, between Lake Shore Boulevard East and Mill Street

to accommodate WATERFRONToronto’s ongoing project to improve sanitary- and storm-water treatment in the area. In this case, crews finish connecting a new sanitary forcemain to an older sanitary sewer just north of the rail corridor.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 172 Cherry St.
