An overnight fire at an power station near Church Street and Richmond Street East has resulted in power outages to TTC services this morning.

Expect a difficult commute if you expect to ride on subway trains along the 1 Yonge - University line or streetcars along the 501 Queen, 504 King, 505 Dundas, 509 Harbourfront or 510 Spadina routes.

The TTC is operating shuttle buses to help commuters who usually travel with these services, but it doesn’t have enough buses to fully replace the subway line and these streetcar routes.

It may also remove buses from other routes to fill in the gaps, so the outage affects other TTC passengers too.
