Bathurst / 401 construction:
TTC detours, May 14, 15



The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Bathurst Street at Highway 401

as Ontario Ministry of Transportation contractors repair the overpass overnight from late Saturday until early Sunday.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along these routes, while the street is closed:

  • 7 Bathurst; and
  • 310 Bathurst overnight.

From 10 p.m. Saturday, May 14 until 10 a.m. Sunday, May 15, southbound buses operate along their regular routes to Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue, then detour:

eastward along Wilson;
southward along Avenue Road; and then
westward along Dunblaine Avenue to Bathurst,
resuming their regular route southward along Bathurst.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bathurst Street north of Wilson Avenue, south of Wilson Avenue and at Marquette Avenue.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Wilson Avenue east of Bathurst Street and at Allard and Clyde Avenues, Ridley Boulevard and Avenue Road and
  • on Avenue Road south of Wilson Avenue and at Carmichael and Dunblaine Avenues.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bathurst Street at Joicey Boulevard and Wilson Avenue.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops:

  • on Avenue Road at Ridley Boulevard and Wilson Avenue,
  • on Wilson Avenue at Ridley Boulevard, across from Clyde and Allard Avenues and at Bathurst Street.
