TTC closing south-side bus loop
at Ossington Station, June 5 and 6

Ossington Station - Easier Access Project Temporary closure of the south side bus loop on June 5 and 6 Work description and purpose

The TTC is retrofitting Ossington Station to make it accessible to all customers.

On Sunday, June 5 and Monday, June 6, 2016 the south bus roadway will be temporarily closed overnight in order to set up a crane to install and perform welding work adjacent to the new elevator (E1) at street level. The closures are as follows:

2 a.m. to 8 a.m. on June 5
2 a.m. to 5 a.m. on June 6

Work hours, noise, odour

Due the space requirements for the equipment, this work must happen at night in order to avoid closing the bus loop during operating hours. Equipment, construction noise and welding odours will be kept to a minimum, where possible. Transit service changes

Buses will resume normal service via the south bus loop, as of each morning, at 8 a.m. on June 5 and at 6 a.m. on June 6.
