The City of Brampton is closing:
- Goreway Drive between Eiffel Boulevard and Countryside Drive
as part of a long-term project to upgrade Countryside and its intersection with Goreway.
Brampton Transit is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:
- 31 McVean.
Construction on Goreway Drive and the detour continue until November 30.

From Monday, June 13 until Wednesday, November 30, southbound buses start their trips on Latania Boulevard at Airport Road, then detour:
southward along Airport; and then
eastward along Countryside Drive to Goreway Drive,
resuming their regular route southward along Goreway.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Airport Road south of Mayfield Road,
- on Mayfield Road east of Airport Road and at Maisonneuve Boulevard and Goreway Drive and
- on Goreway Drive across from Stanley Carberry Drive and at Eiffel Boulevard.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop
- on Countryside Drive at Goreway Drive.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Goreway and Countryside Drives, then detour:
westward along Countryside;
northward along Airport Road; and then
eastward along Mayfield Road to Maisonneuve Boulevard,
resuming their regular route southward along Maisonneuve.Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Goreway Drive at Countryside Drive, across from Eiffel Boulevard and at Lucinda Court.
Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Countryside Drive west of Goreway Drive,
- on Airport Road south of Mayfield Road and
- on Mayfield Road east of Airport Road and at Maisonneuve Boulevard.
