This month, GO Transit is scheduling extra trains along the 01 Lakeshore West and 09 Lakeshore East lines to get you home more comfortably after major downtown events.
GO is operating extra homebound 01 Lakeshore West trains after these Toronto Blue Jays home games at the Rogers Centre:
- Canada Day, Friday, July 1 - 7:07 p.m.: Cleveland Indians;
- Saturday, July 2 - 1:07 p.m.: Cleveland Indians;
- Sunday, July 3 - 1:07 p.m.: Cleveland Indians;
- Wednesday, July 6 - 7:07 p.m.: Kansas City Royals;
- Thursday, July 7 - 7:07 p.m.: Detroit Tigers;
- Friday, July 8 - 7:07 p.m.: Detroit Tigers;
- Saturday, July 9 - 1:07 p.m.: Detroit Tigers;
- Sunday, July 10 - 1:07 p.m.: Detroit Tigers;
- Friday, July 22 - 7:07 p.m.: Seattle Mariners;
- Saturday, July 23 - 1:07 p.m.: Seattle Mariners;
- Sunday, July 24 - 1:07 p.m.: Seattle Mariners;
- Monday, July 25 - 7:07 p.m.: San Diego Padres;
- Friday, July 29 - 7:07 p.m.: Baltimore Orioles;
- Saturday, July 30 - 1:07 p.m.: Baltimore Orioles; and
- Sunday, July 31 - 1:07 p.m.: Baltimore Orioles.
GO will also operate an extra homebound 09 Lakeshore East train after the Blue Jays games Canada Day, Friday, July 1, Sunday, July 3, Saturday, July 9, Saturday, July 23, Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31.
It’s also adding extra trains along both lines after the Guns ‘n’ Roses concert also at the Rogers Centre, Saturday, July 16.
GO schedules will not indicate these extra train trips, since their departure times depend on when the events end and passenger volumes. Be sure to check the departure board at Union Station and listen for announcements.
Look for extra trains along the 21 Milton, 31 Kitchener and 71 Stouffville lines Saturday, July 31 for the annual Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade.
