Wheel-Trans consultation meetings:
July 5, 12, 14 and 21



The TTC wants to hear your ideas about improving its door-to-door accessible service, Wheel-Trans.

It’s hosting three public consultation sessions where you can learn and provide your input about TTC services, new eligibility requirements for Wheel-Trans clients and more.

TTC staff have scheduled the events:

Events take place:

Each session starts at 6:30 p.m. and continues until 8:30 p.m. Staff will make presentations at 7 p.m.

At each location, the TTC will provide:

  • captioning;
  • attendants; and
  • interpreters, including American Sign Language.

Tuesday, July 5

Metro Hall - Room 308 / 309,
55 John Street.

Getting there by regular public transit

  • Subway trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University line to St Andrew Station. Elevator to street level. Metro Hall is two blocks west.
  • Streetcars operating along the 504 King or 514 Cherry route to King Street West and John Street. (Most streetcars are not accessible.)

Tuesday, July 12

Scarborough Civic Centre, Rotunda Room,

Getting there by regular public transit

  • Rapid transit trains operating along the 3 Scarborough line to Scarborough Centre, beside the civic centre.
  • TTC buses operating along the 9 Bellamy, 16 McCowan, 21 Brimley, 38 Highland Creek, 43B Kennedy via Progress, 129 McCowan North, 130 Middlefield, 131 Nugget, 132 Milner, 133 Neilson, 134 Progress, 169 Huntingwood, 190 Scarborough Centre rocket or 199 Finch rocket routes to Scarborough Centre bus terminal, beside the civic centre.
  • GO Transit buses operating along the 52 Oshawa / York U, 92 Oshawa / Yorkdale or 96 Oshawa / Finch express routes to Scarborough Centre GO Bus Terminal, beside the civic centre.

Getting there by regular public transit

  • Subway trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University line to North York Centre Station. Walk to the memorial hall.
  • Southbound TTC buses operating along the 97 Yonge route to Yonge Street north of North York Boulevard, beside North York Civic Centre. Walk to the memorial hall.
  • Northbound TTC buses operating along the 97 Yonge route to Yonge Street and Empress Avenue. Cross Yonge at the signal. Walk south to the memorial hall.
  • Southbound GO buses operating along the 19 Oakville / North York, 27 Milton / North York, 32 Brampton / Trinity Common / North York, 34 Pearson / North York, 67 Keswick / North York and 96 Oshawa / Finch routes to Yonge Street north of North York Boulevard, beside North York Civic Centre. Walk to the memorial hall.
  • Northbound GO buses operating along the 19 Oakville / North York, 27 Milton / North York, 32 Brampton / Trinity Common / North York, 34 Pearson / North York, 67 Keswick / North York and 96 Oshawa / Finch routes to Yonge Street and Elmwood Avenue. Cross Yonge at the signal. Walk to the memorial hall.

  • Southbound buses operating along the 44 Kipling South or 188 Kipling South rocket routes to the end of the line at Colonel Samuel Smith Park Loop, beside the school.
  • Streetcars operating along the 501 Queen route to Lake Shore Boulevard West at Kipling Avenue / Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive. The school is one block south of Lake Shore West. (Most streetcars are not accessible.)
