Stanfield Road railway construction:
MiWay detour, July 6 and 7



Canadian Pacific Railway crews are repairing the level crossing on

  • Stanfield Road between Dundas Street East Mississauga and Middlegate Road

from 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7.

(GO Transit trains operating along the 21 Milton line also use these tracks.)

MiWay is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 51 Tomken.

From 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Middlegate and Stanfield Roads,

ending their trips.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops:

  • on Stanfield Road north of Middlegate Road [2 stops].

Northbound buses start their trips on Middlegate Road at Stanfield Road, then proceed:

southward along Stanfield;
eastward along Queensway East;
northward along Haines Road; and then
eastward along Dundas Street East to Tomken Road,
resuming their regular route northward along Tomken.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Stanfield Road north of Middlefield Road and
  • on Dundas Street East at Tomken Road.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Dundas Street East east of Haines Road.
