GO Transit is decreasing the frequency of trains along the entire 09 Lakeshore East line this weekend, as contractors continue upgrading Guildwood GO Station.

Trains drop off or pick up passengers at all stations along the line every hour, instead of every 30 minutes, tomorrow, Friday, July 8, evening and all day Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10.

Westbound trains leave Oshawa GO Station only at 38 minutes past each hour. GO is canceling all trains that usually leave Oshawa at 8 minutes past each hour, starting with the 8:08 p.m. train tomorrow evening.

Eastbound trains leave Union Station only at 13 minutes past each hour. GO is canceling all trains that usually leave Union at 43 minutes past each hour, starting with the 6:43 p.m. train tomorrow evening.

Regular service resumes Monday, July 11.

GO is decreasing the frequency of service along the line for the same project again in two weeks — Friday, July 22 evening and all day Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24.
