Highway 403 / Erin Mills construction:
GO, MiWay detours, July 15 to 18



Ontario Ministry of Transportation contractors continue with a project to rehabilitate the bridge carrying Erin Mills Parkway over Highway 403.

This weekend, starting 10 p.m. Friday, July 15, construction is temporarily blocking access by northbound buses on Erin Mills into Erin Mills Transitway Station.

GO Transit is detouring buses operating along these routes while access is blocked:

  • 25 Waterloo / Mississauga;
  • 29 Guelph / Mississauga;
  • 46 Oakville / York U; and
  • 47 Hamilton / York U.

MiWay is detouring buses operating along this route while access is blocked:

  • 29 Park Royal - Homelands.

This phase of the construction at Highway 403 and Erin Mills and the detours continue until 5 a.m. July 18.

Construction again blocks access to the station from 10 p.m. Friday, July 22 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 25.

GO has confirmed that buses are detouring but not the detour routing. It’s advising passengers who would normally use this stop to board or exit from buses at the Square One GO Bus Terminal.

According to GO, after 8 p.m. Friday, July 15, buses may drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops outside of the station.

Expect delays as buses detour.

MiWay
29 Park Royal - Homelands

Southbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 10 p.m. Friday, July 15 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 18, northbound buses operate along their regular route to Erin Mills Parkway and the access road into Erin Mills Transitway Station, then detour:

northward along Erin Mills;
eastward along Eglinton Avenue West;
southwestward along Credit Valley Drive; and then
southward along Erin Mills to the access road into the Transitway station,
resuming their regular route westward into the station.

Northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at all regular stops.
