Less frequent GO trains
along Lakeshore East line, July 22, 23, 24

GO Transit is decreasing the frequency of trains along the entire 09 Lakeshore East line this weekend, as contractors continue upgrading Guildwood GO Station.

Trains drop off or pick up passengers at all stations along the line every hour, instead of every 30 minutes, today, Friday, July 22, evening and all day Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24.

Westbound trains leave Oshawa GO Station only at 38 minutes past each hour. GO is canceling all trains that usually leave Oshawa at 8 minutes past each hour, starting with the 8:08 p.m. train this evening.

Eastbound trains leave Union Station only at 13 minutes past each hour. GO is canceling all trains that usually leave Union at 43 minutes past each hour, starting with the 6:43 p.m. train this evening.

Regular service resumes Monday, July 25.

GO previously decreased the frequency of service along the line for the same project two weeks ago — Friday, July 8 evening and all day Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10.
