Rogers Cup at York University:
YRT detour, July 25 to 29



Starting today, Monday, July 25, York University is closing:

  • Shoreham Drive west of Murray Ross Parkway

beside the Aviva Centre during the Rogers Cup men’s professional tennis tournament.

York Region Transit is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

Although the tournament continues until July 31, detours for the Rogers Cup continue only until July 29.

From Monday, July 25 until Friday, July 29, southbound buses traveling toward Downsview Station operate along their regular route to Jane Street and Steeles Avenue West, then detour:

eastward along Steeles; and then
southward along Founders’ Road to Ian Macdonald Boulevard,
resuming their regular route eastward along Ian Macdonald.

Buses serve all vivastations.

The detour does not affect southbound buses that end their trips on the York campus.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route.
