Regions of Halton and Peel contractors continue a joint project to resurface

  • Winston Churchill Boulevard between Dundas Street and Royal Windsor Drive.

All day, Thursday, July 28, they’ll block the intersection of Winston Churchill with:

  • Kingsway Drive.

Oakville Transit is detouring buses operating along this route, while the intersection is closed:

  • 2 Lakeshore.

All day, Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29, they’ll block the intersection with:

  • Sheridan Garden Drive.

OT is detouring buses operating along this route, while the intersection is closed:

  • 21 Clearview.

All day Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Thoresby and Sheridan Garden Drives, then detour:

westward along Sheridan Garden;
southward along Ford Drive; and then
eastward along Royal Windsor Drive to Winston Churchill Boulevard,
resuming their regular route eastward along Royal Windsor.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Sheridan Garden Drive across from Thoresby Drive and at Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Sheridan Garden Drive at Ford Drive and
  • on Royal Windsor Drive beside #2402 Royal Windsor and at Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Sheridan Garden Drive west of Jonathan Drive and at Thoresby Drive.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Royal Windsor Drive beside #2401 Royal Windsor,
  • on Ford Drive at Sheridan Garden Drive and
  • on Sheridan Garden Drive east of Ford Drive.
2 Lakeshore

All day Thursday, July 28, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Winston Churchill Boulevard and Sherwood Heights Drive, then detour:

westward along Sherwood Heights;
southward along Will Scarlett Drive; and then
east- and southward along Prince John Circle [east] to Kingsway Drive,
resuming their regular route westward along Kingsway.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Winston Churchill Boulevard at Kingsway Drive and
  • on Kingsway Drive at Prince John Circle [east].

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Prince John Circle across from Wakehurst Crescent [north] and at Kingsway Drive.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Winston Churchill Boulevard at Benedet Drive.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Prince John Circle at Wakehurst Crescent [north and south] and at Will Scarlett Drive.
