The TTC is not operating subway trains along the 1 Yonge - University line between St George and Union stations this Saturday, August 6, as crews repair or replace the tracks in the closed section of the subway.
All Line 1 trains operate between Downsview and St George stations and between Finch and Union stations that day.
The TTC is operating shuttle buses to replace subway service between the two stations. The buses will drop off or pick up passengers in the bus terminal at St George Station and then on Queen’s Park, University Avenue or Front Street West near all other stations on this section of the subway line. PRESTO fare-card devices are not yet available on all buses. Carry tokens, tickets or cash in case the vehicle that arrives at your stop is not yet PRESTO-equipped.
Wheel-Trans accessible buses also operate between St George and Union stations upon request. Speak with any TTC staff member to ask for this service.
Museum Station is closed for the day, but all other stations are open for you to buy fares.
As PRESTO is not yet available on all shuttle buses, you should carry your Metropass, tokens, tickets or cash to pay your fare.
If you’re traveling from the west and going to Union Station, transfer to streetcars operating along the 510 Spadina route at Spadina Station or continue to the Yonge leg of Line 1 at Bloor - Yonge Station for subway service southwards.
Regular subway service resumes Sunday, August 7.
