Last night, Saturday, August 6, City of Toronto and TTC crews finished most work at Lansdowne Avenue and College Street and reopened the intersection to traffic.

This, according to the TTC, was nearly two days ahead of the schedule the City and TTC originally planned for the work. (They planned to finish work tomorrow, Monday, August 8 evening and reopen the intersection to traffic Tuesday, August 9.)

The City of Toronto continues to work on other projects on College Street, affecting TTC services.

The TTC continues to revise services along these routes:

  • 306 Carlton overnight; and
  • 506 Carlton,

until Sunday, September 11, when this phase of construction ends. (All construction on College and the TTC detours resulting from the work end Saturday, October 8. The TTC operates with new schedules the next day, Sunday, October 9.) Note that buses operating along the 506 Carlton route start and end their trips in High Park, instead of Keele, Station, possibly due to construction at Keele.

It continues to detour buses operating along this route:

  • 47 Lansdowne

until September 7 30 October 29, when sewer construction south of Dundas Street West ends.
