The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

Summerhill, Warden and Wilson stations are next.

TTC crews are removing turnstiles and high gates and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

During construction, you can only access the station at the collector booth aisle at the main entrance.

After the new fare gates are active, you can still use tickets, tokens and Metropasses to pay your fare when you enter the station — but only at the collector booth.

The TTC is assigning ambassadors to the stations to help you figure out how to get around during construction. It will also install way-finding signs.

  • Summerhill: Construction starts Monday, August 29. It continues until about October 31.
  • Wilson: Construction starts Tuesday, August 30. It continues until about November 30.
  • Warden: Construction starts Friday, September 2. It continues until about December 16.

Summerhill Station

During construction, you can only access the station at the collector booth aisle at the main entrance.

Construction continues until about October 31.

Warden Station

Crews are installing the new fare gates in two phases to reduce the impact on passengers.

During phase 1, from Friday, September 2 until about Friday, October 14, you can access and exit the station through the collector booth aisle and exit through an aisle beside the hoarding.

During phase two from about Monday, October 17 until about Friday, December 16, you can access the station through the new fare gates or through the station collector aisle, while work continues.

Wilson Station

Crews are installing the new fare gates in two phases to reduce the impact on passengers.

During phase 1, from Tuesday, August 30 until about Friday, September 23, crews install construction hoarding and remove the turnstiles at the main entrance. You can access the station through a crash-gate collector behind the collector booth.

During phase 2, from about Monday, September 26 until about Wednesday, November 30, you can access the station through the collector booth aisle or crash gate collector.
