As summer end and everyone heads back to school and back to work, the TTC is revising its routes and to improve frequency levels and reliability.
It’s increasing subway service levels Mondays to Fridays during morning rush hours to accommodate demand. Also, Line 1 Yonge - University trains that usually start and end their trips in St Clair West Station during morning rush hours, now operate as far north as Glencairn Station. This affects about half of the trains operating along the line and improves the frequency of service for passengers boarding trains at Glencairn and Eglinton West Stations.
The TTC is also improving or revising several bus routes, including:
- 24E Victoria Park express: More express stops;
- 34 Eglinton East: New branches to improve reliability during construction of the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line;
- 74 Mt Pleasant: Temporarily extended to Doncliffe Loop to replace 103 Mt Pleasant North service during construction of the Eglinton Crosstown light rail transit line;

Specifically; the TTC is: cancelling a route; introducing new branches of routes; cancelling branches of a route; increasing service along routes; decreasing service along routes; increasing the frequency of service along routes; decreasing the frequency of service along routes; revising the path for buses operating along routes; adjusting the schedules for buses operating along routes; and making other changes to service along routes.
