Brampton Transit hosts public information centre on route 53 options, September 22



You can review and comment on proposed changes to Brampton Transit’s 53 Ray Lawson route during a public information event this Thursday, September 22.

Staff will present four routing options, which you can review here. (.pdf)

The event takes place from 4 until 7 p.m. at:

South Fletcher’s Sportsplex - Main Lobby
500 Ray Lawson Boulevard

Getting there by public transit:

  • Southbound Brampton Transit buses operating along the 52 McMurchy route to Ray Lawson Boulevard east of McLaughlin Road South, beside the sportsplex.
  • Eastbound buses operating along the 53 Ray Lawson route to McLaughlin Road South north of Ray Lawson Boulevard. Walk south to Ray Lawson and cross McLaughlin South at the signal. Walk east along the north side of Ray Lawson to the sportsplex.
  • Westbound buses operating along the 53 Ray Lawson route to McLaughlin Road South north of Ray Lawson Boulevard. Walk south to Ray Lawson and then walk east along the north side of Ray Lawson to the sportsplex.

Share your feedback with Service Development staff and vote on your preferred routing option. Four proposed route options will be presented.

Service options will be available online starting Thursday, September 22 to review and provide comments.
