Grand River Transit is hosting two public consultation events where you can review and comment on its proposed 2017-21 business plan. Region of Waterloo and GRT staff will be available to answer your questions.
The Region’s 2011 transportation master plan set an annual ridership target of 28 million GRT rides by 2021. GRT’s 2017-21 Business Plan will guide its plans for improving the regional transit network and service levels to meet the 2021 ridership goal.

During these events you can learn more about:
- The proposed 2017 service plan;
- The planned 2018 and 2021 transit network;
- The new electronic fare system; and
- The ION light rail transit line and how the region plans to integrate it with the GRT network.

- in the Glencairn / Forest Glen area of Kitchener; and
in Uptown Waterloo.
GRT intends to schedule more consultation events later this fall.
