Update — Friday, January 20, 2017, 6:47 a.m.*: Starting 6 a.m. today, the TTC again extends the route for buses operating along the 511 Bathurst route into Exhibition Place, instead of starting and ending trips in Princes’ Gate Loop. Buses and streetcars resume service into the loop starting Sunday, March 26.

The governors of Exhibition Place have scheduled a large number of events this fall and early winter, including the annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the Canadian Football League’s championship Grey Cup festival and game and the National Hockey League’s Centennial Classic.

Since many of these events would affect transit services, the TTC has decided to detour all buses and streetcars serving the area from Tuesday, September 27 until Friday, January 20, 2017.

Starting Tuesday, it’s detouring buses and streetcars operating along these routes:

  • 29 Dufferin;
  • 307 Bathurst overnight;
  • 329 Dufferin overnight;
  • 363 Ossington overnight;
  • 509 Harbourfront; and
  • 511 Bathurst.

Shuttle buses replace streetcars operating along the 509 Harbourfront and 511 Bathurst routes west of Fleet Loop.

The TTC is already detouring some of these services due to long-term construction in Exhibition Loop.
