Toronto Transit Commission meets, September 28



The Toronto Transit Commission meets Wednesday, September 28 at 1 p.m. in Committee Room #1, Second Floor, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.

The commission is the TTC’s board of directors. It oversees matters of policy and planning, building, maintaining and operating the TTC system and expanding its services and facilities.

Commissioners include City of Toronto councillors and members of the public.


During the meeting, the commissioners discuss, among other items, staff reports:

  • reviewing the implications of “microtransit” (meaning car-sharing services such as Uber) in Toronto. (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
  • recommending a new routing for buses serving the 52F branch of the 52 Lawrence West route. (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
  • recommending a new routing for buses service the 66B branch of the 66 Prince Edward route. (You can read the report here. (.pdf))
