You can learn more about Metrolinx’s project to build light rail transit along Hurontario Street between south Brampton and Port Credit at a series of open houses over the next few weeks.
Metrolinx and the City of Mississauga are hosting the events with Mayor Bonnie Crombie, members of Mississauga City Council and project staff.
You can view displays on the project or talk to project staff about your questions, comments and concerns. Staff also make presentations on the project.
Metrolinx and the city have scheduled the events:
- Tuesday, October 18;
- Tuesday, October 25;
- Tuesday, November 1;
- Wednesday, November 2;
- Monday, November 21.
Events take place in:
- Britannia / Heartland;
- the City Centre area;
- Erindale / Huron Park;
- Mississauga Valley; and
- Port Credit.
Tuesday, October 18
Mississauga City Centre,

Displays and staff: Great Hall
Presentation: 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber.
Getting there by public transit:
- Eastbound GO Transit buses operating along the 19 Mississauga / North York and 21 Milton / Toronto routes to Duke of York Boulevard at Princess Royal Drive. Walk one block south along Duke of York, then west along City Centre to the civic centre.
- Westbound buses operating along the 19 Mississauga / North York and 21 Milton / Toronto routes to City Centre Drive east of Duke of York Boulevard. Walk west to Duke of York, then cross at the signal to the civic centre.
- Eastbound MiWay MiLocal buses operating along the 6 Credit Woodlands route to Living Arts Drive at Princess Royal Drive beside the civic centre.
- Westbound buses operating along the 6 Credit Woodlands route to Living Arts Drive at Princess Royal Drive. Cross at the signal to the southwest corner beside the civic centre.
- Southbound buses operating along the 8 Cawthra route to City Centre Drive east of Duke of York Boulevard. Walk west, then cross at the signal to the north-west corner. Walk west to the civic centre.

- Southbound buses operating along the 91 Hillcrest - Cooksville GO route to Duke of York Boulevard at City Centre Drive, beside the civic centre.
