Starting 12:01 a.m. Monday, October 24, the City of Toronto is closing:
- Manse Road between Hainford Street and Heron Park Place
to accommodate a project to upgrade the water services.
The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:
- 86D Scarborough (Beechgrove).
Construction on Manse Road and the detour end 11:59 p.m. Saturday, November 12.
Note that Morningside is an “Avenue”, not a “Drive”.

From Monday, October 24 until Saturday, November 12, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Coronation Drive and Manse Road, then detour:
westward along Coronation; and then
northward along Morningside Avenue to Lawrence Avenue East,
resuming their regular route westward along Lawrence East.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Manse Road north of Deanscroft Square and at Hainford Street and
- on Lawrence Avenue East west of Manse Road, at West Hill Drive, Collinsgrove Road and Morningside Avenue.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Morningside Avenue north of Coronation Drive, at Danzig Avenue and Ling Road.
