Bayview / Finch East construction:
TTC delays, October 28, 29, November 5

From 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, October 28 until 2 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, October 29 and next Saturday, November 5 from 5 a.m. until 2 p.m., a series of traffic lane closures will affect the intersection to accommodate faster road resurfacing work. The City is accelerating this project to decrease the length of time that the work disrupts traffic.

Two eastbound lanes of traffic and one westbound lane will be open at the intersection, while crews grind the pavement in the westbound lanes. Two westbound lanes of traffic and one eastbound lane will be available, while crews grind in the eastbound lanes.

During the November 5 closure, motorists can only access one lane of traffic in each direction.

TTC passengers should expect the work to delay buses operating along these routes:

  • 11 Bayview;
  • 39 Finch East;
  • 199 Finch rocket; and
  • 339 Finch East overnight.
