Mill Street construction:
TTC detours, starting November 9

Update — Thursday, November 24, 5:24 a.m.: A reader reports that construction has ended and TTC buses have resumed regular service.

Starting Wednesday, November 9, the City of Toronto is closing:

  • Mill Street east of Parliament Street,

as crews repair water services.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 121 Fort York - Esplanade.

Construction on Mill Street and the TTC detours continue until December 23.


121 Fort York - Esplanade

From Wednesday, November 29 until Friday, December 23, westbound buses start their trips on Cherry Street at Mill Street, then proceed:

southward along Cherry;
westward along Lake Shore Boulevard East; and then
northward along Parliament Street to Mill,
resuming their regular route northward along Parliament.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Mill Street west of Cherry Street and at Trinity and Parliament Streets.
