Kenilworth Avenue North rail-crossing repairs:
HSR detour, November 14, 15, 16

  • Kenilworth Avenue North between Beach and Dofasco Roads

to accommodate Canadian National Railway crews who are repairing the level crossing for CN’s Grimsby subdivision tracks.

The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 41 Mohawk via Kenilworth.

Rail-crossing repairs on Kenilworth Avenue North and the HSR detour continue until 7 p.m. November 16.


41 Mohawk via Kenilworth

From 9 a.m. Monday, November 14 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, northbound buses operate along their regular route to Kenilworth Avenue North and Grenfell Street, then detour:

westward along Grenfell;
southwestward along Beach Road; and then
northward along Ottawa Street North to Industrial Drive,
resuming their regular route westward along Industrial.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Kenilworth Avenue North at Dofasco and Beach Roads,
  • on Burlington Street East across from Stapleton Avenue and at Dofasco Gate 10 and
  • on Industrial Drive across from the Dofasco parking lot and at Ottawa Street North.

Southbound buses operate along their regular route.
