Free homebound TTC rides from the Grey Cup game,
courtesy of Freedom Mobile, November 27

You can ride home free of fare on the TTC from BMO Field this Sunday, November 27 after the Canadian Football League ‘s annual Grey Cup championship game — courtesy of Freedom Mobile.

Free rides are available from 8:30 until 11 p.m. aboard streetcars operating along the 509 Harbourfront route and buses along the 511 Bathurst only. You can board the streetcars at Fleet Loop — on Fleet Street one block east of Exhibition Place — or the buses at Princes’ Gate Loop — at the east end of the Exhibition grounds.

If you plan to transfer to another TTC vehicle during your trip, make sure you pick up a paper transfer when you board, so that you can continue to ride for free.

Due to ongoing construction at Exhibition Loop and the many events that block streets in Exhibition Place over the next few months — including the Grey Cup game — the TTC is detouring most buses and streetcars that usually serve the area:

  • 29 Dufferin;
  • 307 Bathurst overnight;
  • 329 Dufferin overnight;
  • 363 Ossington overnight;
  • 509 Harbourfront; and
  • 511 Bathurst.
