Confederation Parkway construction:
MiWay detours, January 21, 22



The City of Mississauga is closing:

  • Confederation Parkway, southbound lanes, between Burnhamthorpe Road West and Webb Drive

this Saturday and Sunday to accommodate crews repairing the sanitary sewers.

MiWay is detouring buses operating along these routes, while the street is closed:

  • 28 Confederation; and
  • 6 Credit Woodlands.

28 Confederation

From 7 a.m. Saturday, January 21 until 7 p.m. Sunday, January 22, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Confederation Parkway and Burnhamthorpe Road South, then detour:

westward along Burnhamthorpe West;
southward along Grand Park Drive; and then
eastward along Webb Drive to Confederation,
resuming their regular route southward along Confederation.

Southbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Confederation Parkway south of Burnhamthorpe Road West.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Webb Drive at Redmond Road and Confederation Parkway.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route.

6 Credit Woodlands

Eastbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 7 a.m. Saturday, January 21 until 7 p.m. Sunday, January 22, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Living Arts Drive and Burnhamthorpe Road West, then detour:

eastward along Burnhamthorpe West;
southward along Duke of York Boulevard; and then
westward along Webb Drive to Confederation Parkway,
resuming their regular route westward along Webb.

Westbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Confederation Parkway south of Burnhamthorpe Road West.

Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Burnhamthorpe Road West at Duke of York Boulevard,
  • on Duke of York Boulevard at Webb Drive and
  • on Webb Drive west of Duke of York Boulevard.
