Exhibition Place concrete pour:
TTC detours, February 6, 7, 8



From 6 a.m. Monday, February 6 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, **February 8, Exhibition Place is closing

  • Nunavut Road between Nova Scotia Avenue and Princes’ Boulevard

to accommodate contractors who are pouring concrete at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along these routes, while the street is closed:

  • 29C Dufferin (Princes’ Gate);
  • 307 Bathurst overnight;
  • 329 Dufferin overnight; and
  • 511 Bathurst.

The TTC has been replacing streetcars with buses along the route since Sunday, November 20, 2016, due to ongoing construction in Exhibition Loop and at Bathurst Station — and due to a general shortage of available streetcars.

From 6 a.m. Monday, February 6 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, **southbound buses operate along their regular route to Manitoba Drive and Canada Boulevard, then detour:

westward along Manitoba to Saskatchewan Road / Princes’ Boulevard,
ending their trips.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Princes’ Boulevard across from Newfoundland Road,
  • on Nunavut Road beside the Horse Palace and
  • on Manitoba Drive (eastbound) across from Exhibition Loop.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Manitoba Drive (westbound) beside Exhibition Loop, west of Nova Scotia Avenue and at Saskatchewan Road.

Northbound buses start their trips on Manitoba Drive west of Saskatchewan Road / Princes’ Boulevard, then proceed:

eastward along Princes’; and then
northward along Canada Boulevard to Manitoba Drive,
resuming their regular route eastward along Manitoba.

Northbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Manitoba Drive (eastbound) across from Exhibition Loop.

Instead, northbound buses pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Manitoba Drive at Saskatchewan Road.
307 Bathurst overnight

From 6 a.m. Monday, February 6 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, **southbound buses operate along their regular route to Manitoba Drive and Canada Boulevard, then detour:

westward along Manitoba to Saskatchewan Road / Princes’ Boulevard,
ending their trips.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Princes’ Boulevard across from Newfoundland Road,
  • on Nunavut Road beside the Horse Palace and
  • on Manitoba Drive (eastbound) across from Exhibition Loop.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Manitoba Drive (westbound) beside Exhibition Loop, west of Nova Scotia Avenue and at Saskatchewan Road.

Northbound buses start their trips on Manitoba Drive west of Saskatchewan Road / Princes’ Boulevard, then proceed:

eastward along Princes’; and then
northward along Canada Boulevard to Manitoba Drive,

29C Dufferin (Princes’ Gate)

From 6 a.m. Monday, February 6 until 6 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, **southbound buses operate along their regular route.

Northbound buses start their trips in Princes’ Gate Loop, as usual, then proceed:

northward along Canada Boulevard; and then
westward along Manitoba Drive to Nova Scotia Avenue,
resuming their regular route westward along Manitoba.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Princes’ Boulevard across from Newfoundland Road and
  • on Nunavut Road beside the Horse Palace.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Manitoba Drive (westbound) beside Exhibition Loop.
329 Dufferin overnight

Buses operate along their regular route.
