Brampton Transit public information centres:
March 23 to 30



Brampton Transit is hosting its annual public information centres acorss the city. You can learn about proposals to revise BT service and share your feedback about the plans with transit staff.

(The proposals will be on-line soon.)

Staff have scheduled events:


Thursday, March 23

Chris Gibson Recreation Centre
125 McLaughlin Road North,
4 until 7 p.m.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Eastbound buses operating along the 1 Queen route to McLaughlin Road North at Campbell Drive. Cross McLaughlin North at the signal to the recreation centre.
  • Southbound buses operating along the 3 / 3A McLaughlin route to McLaughlin Road North at Campbell Drive. Cross McLaughlin North at the signal to the recreation centre.
  • Northbound buses operating along the 3 / 3A McLaughlin route to McLaughlin Road North across from Campbell Drive beside the recreation centre.
  • Southbound buses operating along the 57 Charolais route to McLaughlin Road North at Campbell Drive. Cross McLaughlin North at the signal to the recreation centre.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Brampton Transit buses operating along the 35 / 35A Clarkway, 36 Gardenbrooke Trail and 50 Gore Road routes directly to the community centre.

Brampton Gateway Terminal
501 Main Street South
3 until 6 p.m.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Brampton Transit buses operating along the 2 Main, 3 / 3A McLaughlin, 4 / 4A Chinguacousy, 8 Centre, 11 / 11A Steeles, 51 Hereford, 52 / 52A McMurchy, 53 Ray Lawson, 57 Charolais, 502 Züm Main and 511 / 511A Züm; Steeles routes to the terminal.
  • Eastbound GO Transit buses operating along the 31 Guelph / Georgetown / Toronto and 33 Guelph / Georgetown / North York routes to Main Street South north of Steeles Avenue West. Walk south along Main South to the terminal.
  • Westbound GO Transit buses operating along the 31 Guelph / Georgetown / Toronto and 33 Guelph / Georgetown / North York routes to Main Street South north of Steeles Avenue East. Cross Main South at the signal to the terminal on the northwest corner.
  • MiWay buses operating along the 103 Hurontario MiExpress route to the terminal.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Brampton Transit buses operating along the 1 / 1A Queen, 8 Centre, 9 Vodden, 10 South Industrial, 12 Grenoble, 13 Avondale, 14 Torbram, 15 / 15A Bramalea, 16 Southgate, 17 Howden, 18 / 18B Dixie, 19 Fernforest, 20 / 20A East Industrial, 115 Airport express, 185 Dixie express and 501 / 501A Züm Queen routes operate through the terminal.
  • GO Transit buses operating along the 31 Guelph / Georgetown / Toronto, 32 Brampton / Trinity Common / North York and 36 Brampton / North York express routes operate through the terminal.
  • MiWay buses operating along the 185 Dixie express route operate through the terminal.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Southbound Brampton Transit buses operating along the 4 / 4A Chinguacousy route to Chinguacousy Road North and Sandalwood Parkway West, beside the community centre.
  • Northbound buses operating along the 4 / 4A Chinguacousy route to Chinguacousy North at Sandalwood West. Cross at the signal to the northwest corner beside the community centre.
  • Eastbound buses operating along the 23 Sandalwood route to Sandalwood and Chinguacousy. Cross Sandalwood at the signal to the northwest corner beside the community centre.
  • Westbound buses operating along the 23 Sandalwood route to Sandalwood west of Chinguacousy, beside the community centre.
