YRT hosts annual public information centres,
March 21 to April 12



York Region Transit hosts annual public information centres to listen to what you have to say about its plans. According to YRT, “Your feedback helps us complete our annual review of transit services, which is intended to help us build an innovative, reliable and customer-focused transit system for York Region.”

YRT intends these events to help you better understand YRT and Viva operations and its plans for the upcoming year. You can also ask questions and discuss the proposals directly with YRT / Viva staff.

Tuesday, March 21

  • YRT buses operating along the 4 Major Mackenzie, 12 Pine Valley, 20 Jane, 24 Maple local, 85 / 85C Rutherford, 87 Autumn Hill and 360 Vaughan Mills express routes to Vaughan Mills Terminal.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Southbound buses operating along the 22 / 22A King City route to King Road and William Street. Cross King Road at the signal and walk eastward to the municipal offices.
  • Northbound buses operating along the 22 / 22A King City route to King Road and Banner Lane. Walk eastward to the municipal offices.

Getting there by public transit:

  • Southbound YRT buses operating along the 9 Ninth Line route to Main Street Stouffville at Sandiford Drive. Walk south to the municipal offices.
  • Westbound YRT buses operating along the 15 Stouffville route to Main Street Stouffville at Sandale Road. Cross at the signal to the southwest corner of Main and Sandiford, then walk south to the municipal offices.
  • Southbound GO Transit buses operating along the 70 Uxbridge / Stouffville / Markham and 71 Stouffville / Toronto routes to Main Street Stouffville at Sandiford Drive. Walk south to the municipal offices.
  • Northbound GO buses operating along the 70 Uxbridge / Stouffville / Markham and 71 Stouffville / Toronto routes to Main Street Stouffville at Sandale Road. Cross at the signal to the southwest corner of Main and Sandiford, then walk south to the municipal offices.

  • YRT buses operating along the Viva blue, Viva pink, Viva purple, 1 Highway 7, 83 Trench, 86 Newkirk - Red Maple, 87 Autumn Hill, 91B Bayview and 99 Yonge routes to Richmond Hill Centre Terminal.
  • GO Transit trains operating along the 61 Richmond Hill line to Langstaff GO Station. Cross pedestrian bridge to Richmond Hill Centre Terminal.
  • GO buses operating along the 40 Hamilton / Pearson / Richmond Hill, 51 Pickering / York U, 52 Oshawa / York U and 54 Markham / York U routes to Richmond Hill Centre Terminal.
  • Southbound GO buses operating along the 61 Richmond Hill / Toronto route to Yonge Street south of Garden Avenue. Walk northward to Garden, then cross at the signal to the northeast corner of Yonge and Garden. Walk eastward along Garden to the terminal.
  • Northbound GO buses operating along the 61 Richmond Hill / Toronto route to Yonge Street south of Garden Avenue. Walk northward to Garden, then cross at the signal to the northeast corner of Yonge and Garden. Walk eastward along Garden to the terminal.

  • Southbound YRT buses operating along the Viva blue route to Wellington vivastation. Cross to the east side of Yonge at the signal, then walk southward two blocks.
  • Northbound YRT buses operating along the Viva blue route to Wellington vivastation. Walk southward two blocks.
  • Southbound YRT buses operating along the 22A King City and 98 Yonge routes to Yonge Street at Wellington Street West. Cross to the east side of Yonge at the signal, then walk southward two blocks.
  • Northbound YRT buses operating along the 22A King City, 31 Aurora North and 98 Yonge routes to Yonge and Church Streets. The library is on the northeast corner.
  • Southbound YRT buses operating along the 54 Bayview route to Church Street at Yonge Street beside the library.
  • Westbound YRT buses operating along the 32 Aurora South and 33 Wellington routes to Wellington Street West west of Yonge Street. Cross to the east side of Yonge at the signal, then walk southward two blocks.
  • Eastbound YRT buses operating along the 32 Aurora South and 33 Wellington routes to Wellington Street West west of Yonge Street. Cross to the east side of Yonge at the signal, then walk south two blocks.
  • Southbound GO Transit buses operating along the 65 Newmarket / Toronto route to Yonge Street north of Wellington Street West. Cross to the east side of Yonge at the signal, then walk southward two blocks.
  • Northbound GO Transit buses operating along the 65 Newmarket / Toronto route to Yonge Street north of Wellington Street East. Walk two blocks southward.

  • Eastbound buses operating along the 40 Markham local route to Town Centre Boulevard at Wallis Way. Cross Town Centre, then walk eastward to the civic centre.
  • Westbound YRT buses operating along the 1 Highway 7 route to Highway 7 and Town Centre Boulevard. Walk northward one block and then eastward to the Civic Centre.
  • Eastbound Viva buses operating along the 1 Highway 7 route to Highway 7 and South Town Centre Boulevard. Cross Highway 7 and Town Centre Boulevard at the signal. Walk northward one block and then eastward to the Civic Centre.
  • Northbound YRT buses operating along the 302 Unionville express route to Town Centre Boulevard across from Cox Boulevard. Walk to the civic centre.
  • Westbound Viva buses operating along the Viva pink and Viva purple routes to Town Centre vivastation. Walk northward one block and then eastward to the Civic Centre.
  • Eastbound Viva buses operating along the Viva pink and Viva purple routes to South Town Centre vivastation. Cross Highway 7 and Town Centre Boulevard at the signal. Walk northward one block and then eastward to the Civic Centre.
