Bay Street hydro work:
TTC detours, March 25, 26



The City of Toronto is closing

  • Bay Street, southbound lanes, between Front Street West and Queens Quay West

all day Saturday and continuing overnight to early Sunday morning to accommodate Toronto Hydro crews who are working on the street.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along these routes, while the lanes are closed:

  • 6 Bay;
  • 320 Yonge overnight.

6 Bay

From 7 a.m. Saturday, March 25 until 5 a.m. Sunday, March 26, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Bay Street and Front Street West, then detour:

eastward along Front West; and then
southward along Yonge Street to Queens Quay,
resuming their regular route eastward along Queens Quay East.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bay Street at Front Street West and south of Harbour Street and
  • on Queens Quay West across from Bay Street.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route.

320 Yonge overnight

Until 5 a.m. Sunday, March 26, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Bay Street and Front Street West, then detour:

eastward along Front Street West;
southward along Yonge Street;
westward along Lake Shore Boulevard West to Bay,
resuming their regular route southward along Bay.

Southbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Bay Street at Front Street West.
