Finch West Station: Construction blocks Keele,
TTC detours, April 21 to 24



TTC contractors continue working on the project to extend the Line 1 Yonge - University subway northwest to Vaughan.

This weekend, the City of Toronto is closing:

  • Keele Street, both directions, between Murray Ross Parkway and Finch Avenue West,

while the contractors install a fire line at the future Finch West Station

From 10 p.m. tonight, Friday, April 21 until 6 a.m. Monday, April 24, the TTC is detouring buses operating along these routes, while the street is closed:

  • 41 Keele;
  • 107 Keele North; and
  • 341 Keele overnight.

This weekend’s work does not affect service along the 36 Finch West and 336 Finch West overnight routes.

From 10 p.m. Friday, April 21 until 6 a.m. Monday, April 24, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Murray Ross Parkway and Keele Street, then detour:

eastward along Murray Ross;
southward along Tangiers Road; and then
westward along Toro Road to Keele,
resuming their regular route southward along Keele.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Keele Street at Finch Avenue West and across from #3925 Keele.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Tangiers Road at Finch Avenue West.

Northbound buses reverse the northbound detour routing.

  • on Keele Street at Finch Avenue West.

Instead northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Tangiers Road at Finch Avenue West.
