The City of Toronto is closing
- Southwood Drive between Kingston Road and Glen Stewart Crescent
Saturday, as contractors move a crane at a construction site.
The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:
- 64 Main.

From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, April 29, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Main Street and Kingston Road, then detour:
westward along Kingston;
southward along Woodbine Avenue;
eastward along Queen Street East; and then
northward along Hambly Avenue to just north of Queen East,
ending their trips.Southbound buses skip their regular stops + on Southwood Drive south of Glen Stewart Crescent and at Glen Ames and Williamson Road and > + on Wineva Avenue south of Williamson Road and at Queen Street East.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Kingston Road across from Lee Avenue, at Brookside Drive and across from Elmer Avenue, >+ on Woodbine Avenue at Columbine Avenue,
- on Queen Street East at Kippendavie Avenue, Waverley Road and Lee Avenue and
- on Hambly Avenue north of Queen Street East.
Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Williamson Road at Wineva Avenue, then detour:
southward along Wineva;
westward along Queen Street East;
northward along Woodbine Avenue; and then
eastward along Kingston Road to Southwood Drive / Main Street,
resuming their regular route northward along Main.Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Williamson Road across from Southwood Drive and
- on Southwood Drive across from Glen Ames and at Kingston Road.
Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops
- on Wineva Avenue south of Williamson Road and at Queen Street East,
- on Queen Street East at Lee Avenue, Waverley Road and Elmer and Woodbine Avenues,
- on Woodbine Avenue at Norway Avenue and Kingston Road and
- on Kingston Road at Elmer Avenue, Waverley Road and Lee Avenue.
