TTC detour, May 6



The City of Toronto is closing:

  • Vaughan Road north of St. Clair Avenue West

Saturday as contractors lift a crane at a construction site.

The TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 90 Vaughan.

90 Vaughan

From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Vaughan Road and Kenwood Avenue, then detour:

northward along Kenwood;
southeastward along Claxton Boulevard; and then
southward along Bathurst Street to St. Clair Avenue West,
resuming their regular route eastward along St. Clair West.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Vaughan Road south of Maplewood Avenue and at Louise Avenue and
  • on St. Clair Avenue West east of Vaughan Road.

Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Bathurst Street south of Claxton Boulevard and across from Tichester Road.

Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.

Northbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Vaughan Road north of St. Clair Avenue West and at Louise, Maplewood and Kenwood Avenues.

Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

  • on Bathurst Street north of St. Clair Avenue West and at Tichester Road.
