TTC upgrading roof at Old Mill Station,
starting May 15

Starting Monday, May 15, the TTC is replacing the roof over the station building and the platform area at the station. It is installing a “cool white roof” to meet the requirements of the Toronto Green Standard.

This roof system will help reduce energy use through the summer by reflecting the sun’s rays. The roof also helps reduce ultra-violet degradation of the roof membrane, resulting in longer service life.

Construction hoarding will be in place to protect passengers from the work area.

Construction on the roof at Old Mill Station continues until December 31.
