Garth / Rymal West Hamilton construction:
HSR detour, May 30



From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, the City of Hamilton is closing:

  • Garth Street, southbound lanes**, south of Rymal Road West,

part of the ongoing project to widen Rymal West.

The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 35 College.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route.

From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, southbound operate along their regular route to Garth Street and Rymal Road West, then detour:

westward along Rymal West;
southward along Glancaster Road;
eastward along Twenty Road; and then
northbound along Garth to the St. Elizabeth Village access road,
resuming their regular route eastward to St. Elizabeth Village loop.

Southbound buses skip their regular stop

  • on Garth Street south of Rymal Road West.
