Queen East / Parliament:
TTC maintaining tracks, starting June 4

Starting Sunday, June 4, TTC crews conduct preventative and corrective rail maintenance to the streetcar tracks at the intersection of Queen Street East and Parliament Street. During this project, they’ll weld rail components and rail joints but do not have to break or remove concrete.

The crews work overnight between 11:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. when traffic volumes are at their lowest and they can establish a safe work zone. They’ll clear the area of traffic management signs and pylons by 6 a.m. each day. Expect noise when equipment is operating.

The TTC maintains the tracks at Queen East and Parliament until June 18.
