GO revising platforms at Union Station,
starting June 7

PlatformChanges250x200.jpgStarting this Wednesday, June 7, GO Transit is revising where you board your GO trains Monday-to-Friday afternoons.

As a result, passengers board most afternoon trains operating along the 01 Lakeshore West and 21 Milton lines from different platforms than usual. GO is closing platforms 4, 5 and 6 and reopening Platforms 7 through 10, which it closed in December during the ongoing construction.

If you’re traveling aboard any Milton train and most Lakeshore West trains from Union Station Monday-to-Friday afternoons, this affects you. Metrolinx is assigning extra station attendants and transit safety officers to the station to help guide you.

Closing and reopening platforms are important steps in the ongoing project to revitalize Union Station. Contractors continue working to improve the train-shed roof, tracks and station building.

Always check the departures boards before heading up to the platform - platform changes can happen at any time.
