The City of Toronto is closing:
- Horner Avenue between Thirtieth Street and Kipling Avenue
this weekend to accommodate Canadian Pacific Railway crews who are maintaining the Canpa Subdivision tracks at the level crossing of Horner.
From 8 p.m. Friday, June 9 until 4 a.m. Monday, June 12, the TTC is detouring buses operating along this route, while the street is closed:
- 110A Islington South via Horner and Brown’s Line.
The CPR completed similar work on the Canpa Subdivision tracks at Evans Avenue from 8 p.m. Friday, May 26 until 4 a.m. Monday, May 29.

From 8 p.m. Friday, June 9 until 4 a.m. Monday, June 12, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Horner and Kipling Avenues, then detour:
southward along Kipling;
westward along Lake Shore Boulevard West; and then
northward along Thirtieth Street to Horner,
resuming their regular route westward along Horner.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Horner Avenue at Kipling Avenue, across from Tupper Avenue and Fima Crescent and at Conorvale Avenue, Edilou Drive and Thirtieth Street.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Kipling Avenue across from New Toronto Street, at Birmingham Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West,
- on Lake Shore Boulevard West at Twenty-Second, Twenty-Sixth, Twenty-Ninth and Thirtieth Streets and
- on Thirtieth Street north of Lake Shore Boulevard West, at Elder Avenue, Akron Road and Alhena and Horner Avenues.
**Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.
Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Horner Avenue across from Edilou Drive, at Belvia Road and Fima Crescent, west of Tupper Avenue and at Kipling Avenue.
Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Thirtieth Street south of Horner Avenue and at Alhena Avenue, Akron Road, Elder Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West,
- on Lake Shore Boulevard West at Twenty-Eighth, Twenty-Sixth and Twenty-Third Streets and
- on Kipling Avenue north of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Birmingham Street and at New Toronto Street.
