GO revises routes and services, June 24

GO Transit is introducing new Monday-to-Friday midday and evening service along the 71 Stouffville line.

GO trains also operate on two new trips along the line — one between Lincolnville GO Station and Union Monday-to-Friday mornings, and one in the reverse direction afternoons. GO is also extending some train trips between Unionville and Union so that the trains serve the entire line between Lincolnville and Union. In total, GO is adding 17 new train trips every weekday, doubling the total number of weekly train trips from 85 to 170 along the corridor.

Since it’s adding more train service, GO is significantly adjusting the schedules for parallel bus trips, decreasing service along the 71 Stouffville / Toronto bus route and increasing service along the 70 Uxbridge / Stouffville / Markham route.

Starting today, Friday, **June 23, GO is resuming its summer weekend train service along the 12 Niagara Falls line, restoring its seasonal 11 Niagara Falls / St. Catharines route and increasing the number of express trips along the 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington route.
