Less frequent Lakeshore West GO train service,
July 7 to 9

GO Transit is decreasing the frequency of service along the 01 Lakeshore West train line to every hour, instead of every 30 minutes, the evening of Friday, July 7 through Sunday, July 9. Metrolinx crews are maintaining the railway crossing at Revus Avenue — between Port Credit and Long Branch GO Stations — this weekend.

Friday, July 7:
  • Eastbound trains operate hourly, starting with the train that leaves Aldershot GO Station at 8:01 p.m. GO is cancelling the trains that usually leave Aldershot at 8:31, 9:31 and 10:31 p.m.
  • Westbound trains operate hourly, starting with the train that leaves Union Station at 7:43 p.m. GO is cancelling the trains that usually leave Union at 8:13, 9:13, 10:13 and 11:13 p.m.
Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9:
  • East- and westbound trains operate hourly all day.
  • GO is cancelling the eastbound trains that usually leave Aldershot at 31 minutes past the hour.
  • It’s also cancelling the westbound trains trips that usually leave Union at 13 minutes past the hour.
  • To provide service to Toronto Blue Jays fans, the westbound train that usually leaves Aldershot at 10:31 a.m. operates as usual.

Connecting GO buses operating along the 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington, 15 Brantford / Burlington and 18 Lakeshore West routes operate according to their regular schedules. Local transit services — TTC, MiWay, Oakville Transit, Burlington Transit and Hamilton Street Railway — operate as usually.

Plan ahead. You may have to wait in GO stations as much as 30 minutes longer than usually for trains.
