PRESTO upgrading system, August 4 and 5



You can’t access the website for the PRESTO fare card from this evening, Friday, August 5 until later tomorrow morning, Saturday August 5, while staff upgrade the PRESTO system.

While the website is unavailable, you can’t go on-line or telephone the PRESTO Call Centre to:

  • order new or cards or replace old cards;
  • access PRESTO accounts;
  • load funds;
  • activate a new card;
  • report a lost or stolen card;
  • set up autoload;
  • transfer balances from old to new cards;
  • update account information on the PRESTO website or by phone; or
  • visit the “Frequently asked Questions”, “Learn About PRESTO”, “Contact Us” and “Federal Tax Credit” pages on the PRESTO site.

When the website is available again, your transactions during the upgrade may not immediately appear in your account information. However, all transactions should appear in your transaction history in two days.

Contact the PRESTO Contact Centre at 1-877-378-6123 to ask general-information questions during the outage.

During the upgrade, you can continue to use your PRESTO card for travel.
