You can ride any HSR bus free of fare to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats game against the Ottawa Redblacks, Friday, August 18 at 7:30 p.m. — if you hold a valid ticket to the game.
With the HSR’s Ticket to Ride program, you can ride free of fare to Tim Horton’s Field for as much as two hours before game time and free of fare from the stadium until the end of service.
You can also take advantage of Tiger-Cats Express shuttles. Park your car at or near one of three terminals across the City and the HSR will whisk you directly to the stadium on an express bus — and then take you back to one of the three terminals after the game. (You can also take another HSR bus to one of the three terminals — just show your game ticket to the bus operating and that’s your ticket to ride.)

Open Streets TO
The City of Toronto is closing:
- Bloor Street East between Parliament Street and Yonge Street,
- Bloor Street West between Montrose Avenue and Yonge Street and
- Yonge Street between Bloor and Queen Streets
Sunday morning and afternoon to accommodate the annual event.
Since most cross-streets are open to traffic, the event has little effect on TTC services, except for one detour.

From 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, August 20, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Dovercourt Road and Dupont Street, then detour:
eastward along Dupont;
southward along Ossington Avenue; and then
westward into Ossington Station bus terminal,

Westbound buses start their trips in Ossington Station bus terminal, as usually, but proceed:
northward along Concord Avenue;

eastward along Dupont Street to Dovercourt Road,
resuming their regular route northward along Dovercourt.Westbound buses skip their regular stops

- Queen Street West, westbound lanes, between Yonge and Bay Streets.
Sunday afternoon to accommodate the annual parade. A festival follows on Nathan Phillips Square.
The TTC is detouring streetcars while the streets are closed.

Warriors Day Parade
Warriors Day, Saturday, August 19, at the Canadian National Exhibition, past and present members of Canada’s Armed Forces march through the Princes’ Gates and along Princes’ Boulevard in Exhibition Place.
Veterans of Canada’s wars and peacekeeping missions gain free admission to the “Ex”.
Many local transit agencies — including Brampton Transit, Brantford Transit, Durham Region Transit, GO Transit, Grand River Transit, Guelph Transit, MiWay, the TTCand York Region Transit — offer free rides to vets and their companions.

Event organizers are providing free shuttle bus service from Unionville GO Station and Markville Mall to the venue.
The event also affects York Region Transit service.
