TTC installing PRESTO fare-gates
at Dundas Station, starting September 10

The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

Dundas Station is next.

Starting Sunday, September 10, TTC crews are removing turnstiles and high gates and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

The TTC is closing the station to passengers from Sunday, September 10 until Friday, September 15 at 11 p.m. each night. It’s closing the station all day Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17. The TTC again closes the station at 11 p.m. from Monday, September 18 “until early October”, or until October 5.

Whenever the TTC closes the station early or for the entire weekend, trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University line do not stop in the station. You must walk to College or Queen stations to board the trains.

During construction, you can only enter the station through a temporary station collector aisle. The TTC is setting up a temporary card reader beside the fare collector.

The TTC is also assigning customer-service representatives to help guide you during construction.
