TTC installing PRESTO fare-gates
at King Station, starting September 15

The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

King Station is next.

Starting Friday, September 15, TTC crews are removing turnstiles at the main entrance and high gates at the Commerce Court entrance and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

The TTC is closing the station to passengers from Tuesday, September 19 until Saturday, September 23 at 10 p.m. each night.

Whenever the TTC closes the station early, trains operating along the 1 Yonge - University line do not stop in the station. You must walk to Queen or Union stations to board the trains.

During construction, you can only enter the station through a temporary station collector aisle. The TTC is setting up a temporary card reader beside the fare collector.

The TTC is also assigning customer-service representatives to help guide you during construction.

To buy a PRESTO card, visit the Gateway Newstand in King Station or prestocard.ca.
