Southlake Health Centre crane activity:
YRT detour, September 30



Contractors are hoisting a crane at Southlake Regional Health Centre this Saturday, September 30 morning, preventing vehicles from accessing the eastern side of the hospital.

York Region Transit is detouring buses operating along this route, while the access is blocked:

  • 521 Newmarket community bus.

From 7 a.m. until noon, Saturday, September 30, buses operate along their regular route to Davis Drive and Prospect Street, then detour:

southward** along Prospect; and then
eastward along Grace Street to the north-south hospital access road,
resuming their regular route eastward along Grace.

Buses skip their regular stop

  • at the east entrance into Southlake Regional Health Centre.

Buses continue to pick up passengers at their usual stop

  • on Grace Street west of Roxborough Road.

If you usually exit from or board the buses at the stop beside the hospital, board or exit at the stop on the south side of Grace Street across from and slightly east of the hospital.
