TTC installing PRESTO fare-gates
at Don Mills Station, starting October 2

The TTC continues to install new PRESTO fare gates at more stations.

Don Mills Station is next.

TTC crews are removing turnstiles and replacing them with new, PRESTO-enabled, paddle-style fare gates. The new gates provide easier access and improve the flow of passengers into and out of stations.

Starting Monday, October 2, the TTC is closing the collector booth at the main entrance. You can’t buy tickets, tokens or TTC passes at the station. You can only enter and exit the station through a temporary station collector aisle.

A PRESTO card reader is available during construction.

Starting 11 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, the TTC is completely closing the automatic entrance. It reopens 6 a.m. Friday, October 6. After it reopens, the TTC will temporarily station a fare collector there.

When construction ends at this entrance, you can only enter if you have a TTC pass or a PRESTO card. If you want to pay your fare with tickets, tokens or cash, you’ll have to use the main entrance.

Construction at both entrances continues until November 30.

To buy a PRESTO card, visit the Gateway Newstand in Don Mills Station or prestocard.ca.
