Bronte Street South construction
delays Milton Transit buses, starting October 3

Update — Thursday, November 23, 7:55 a.m.: Construction has ended and buses have resumed regular service.

Tuesday, October 3, Region of Halton contractors follow up their earlier project to:

  • replace sewers on Bronte Street South between Heslop Road and and 100 metres south of Anne Boulevard; and
  • replace water-mains on Bronte Street South between Barton Street and Derry Road West,

by rebuilding the roadway.

The work may delay Milton Transit buses operating along the 2 Main route. You should plan for longer trips to travel to and from your destination. MT may also temporarily relocate bus stops, as crews proceed with the project.

The project to replace the sewers and water-mains on Bronte Street previously affect Milton Transit service from Monday, April 3 until Friday, September 1.

Construction on Bronte Street South and the Milton Transit delays continue “this fall” or until November 30.
